By participating in this event, participants automatically grant the organizing authority and the sponsors the right, without compensation, in perpetuity and at their sole discretion, to make, use, and exhibit any photographic, audio, and video recordings and other reproductions of themselves taken on the water or at the event venue from the time of their arrival at the venue until the time of their final departure.
The results of this event will be published online with details of class, sail number, helmsman’s name, crew, and place of residence.

Competitors participate in the series entirely at their own risk, in accordance with Rule 3 of the RRS. By participating in this event, a competitor acknowledges and agrees that sailing is a dangerous activity with inherent risks. These risks include strong winds and rough seas, sudden changes in weather, equipment failure, boat handling errors, poor seamanship of other boats, loss of balance on an unstable surface, and fatigue, which increases the risk of injury. Inherent to the sport of sailing is the risk of permanent, catastrophic injury or death from drowning, hypothermia, or other causes.
The Royal Water Sport Association of Sneek or any other party involved in organizing the competitions accepts no liability for material damage, personal injury, or death caused in connection with, before, during, or after the competition series.
